The stud was founded by the Cordia family and in the 80s and 90s quickly grew into a renowned international top stable, this also thanks to the sporting achievements of daughter Eliane and son Kees-Jan Cordia.

Riders such as Albert Voorn, Piet Raijmaekers, Ben Schröder and Kees-Jan Cordia jumped with Jewel's horses to the very highest international level at competitions around the world. Well-known horses from that era included Classic Touch, Amethyst II, Dominard, Emerald, Brownboy, Hercos and Sapphier. All bore the famous prefix Jewel's which stood and still stands for the unique quality of our horses and their pedigree.

Current stable riders Robin van Thillo and South African Paige Jacobs manage the jumping stable permanently since 2022, presenting the horses at competitions and teaching regularly at Jewel Court Stud.

We can also look back on several successes in breeding.
Jewel´s Carat, the only approved son of Jewel´s Classic Touch, is currently enjoying his old age in the pastures with us.

We can also look back on several successes in breeding. Think of the only approved son of Jewel´s Classic Touch; Jewel´s Carat (by Quasimodo vd Molendreef), Exclusive Touch (by Querlybet Hero) youngest daughter of Classic Touch. Jewel’s Carat was named the best young horse of this world-famous competition presented by none other than Marcus Ehning at 7 years old at CHIO Aachen.4 grandsons of Classic Touch were Approved: Jewel’s Diamant (Cardento x Dominard), Jewel’s Jasper (Jewel’s Carat x Grannus), Jewel’s Chrystal (Nabab de Reve x Querlybet Hero) and the most recent still in the sport ridden Jewel’s Touch of Quality (Kannan x Querlybet Hero). Our dressage breeding is continued by our dressage stallion Jewel’s Sir Weihbach and daughter of Totilas (Jewel’s Touch of Totilas)

Our stud in the USA, under the direction of Eliane Cordia - van Reesema, is taking on the dressage sport branch of Jewel Court Stud.
