Jewel's Carat
Stallion | 06-09-2002 | BWP | brown | 1.65
Carat is named for the unit to name the purity of gold. Jewel’s Carat completely fits this description. He was born on 6.9.2002 from the unique dam and Olympic champion horse Jewel´s Classic Touch which was not only an exceptional sport horse but also combined this with a willing intelligence to do everything for her rider.
Jewel´s Classic Touch (25.3.1984-13.9.2008) was a mare by Caletto II out of a Landgraf dam (Ladykiller XX). She was the only horse that was clear in the final of the Barcelona Olympics (1992) under the saddle of Ludger Beerbaum. Jewel´s Classic Touch was then only 8 years old!
Sire Quasimodo van de Molendreef is the older brother of the famous Action Breaker.
Quasimodo himself ran in international show jumping under the saddle of David Jobertie. Unfortunately, his career was ended early due to an injury.
Carat is the only approved stallion out of Classic Touch ( official name: Whippe; Caletto II x Landgraf I).
He is still top fit enjoying his old age in the pastures of Jewel Court Stud in Wuustwezel.

Jewel's Dominard
Stallion | 03-05-1988 -2015 deceased | Old / BWP | fox | 1m75
The Oldenbruger Springcrack Dominard, bred at Paul Schockemöhle, is a product of very famous showjumping sires (both sire and dam side) such as Domino, Domspatz, Gotthard, Graf, Goldfish II,… Dominard, who has phenomenal movements and unlimited jumping ability, was a huge topper at the 1991 Münster Handorf performance examination with 137 points for jumping ability (3rd place), a 10 for willingness to work and twice a 9 for both jumping components.
Dominard has been incredibly successful in the ring in his later sport career with stable riders Albert Voorn and Piet Raymakers. A large number of his offspring also perform well in the international show jumping sport.
Now gelded, his semen is still available frozen. He enjoyed his retirement with Jewel’s Amethyst by his side at his home base Jewel Court Stud.
In August 2015, the decision was made to put Dominard to sleep peacefully. After a fantastic old age, and out of respect for this great horse, the right decision was made at the right time.
